Garden of Ouda Abu Masaud

Most people know this beautiful place in Wadi Shaq as Ouda’s garden, and remember Ouda as the keen gardener and talented craftsman he was, may God bless his soul. Today, his brother Musa and sons Hemeid and Ahmed take good care of the garden, a stunning little green oasis surrounded by red granite hills. It is in a secluded location, in the bend of short and narrow Wadi Shaq, separated from the big open plain of Wadi Mathar by a small hill. There is a small canyon just opposite the garden, behind the little dam and palm trees, and another canyon is found a bit further up with the seasonal water pool known as Kharaza. There are many little attractions in the area and the location is also convenient to visit some of the famous peaks.
